Thor has always been the least popular Avenger that has his own movie (Hawkeye and Black Widow don’t count here), until now that is. They brought in a new director, they made him more light, they kept Loki on the side all along and there you go, it’s a success.
New Thor gets his hair cut (it’s a process, he cries), gets a new best buddy in both Hulk and Bruce Banner and possibly a new love interest, after Jane left him (good, very good, she did not belong in the MCU). Mark Ruffalo should really get his own movie by this point.
Of course, it’s all about the family drama – Odin decides to join his late wife and dies, but not before telling his sons that they have an evil older sister – Hela, the Goddess of Death. In the comics, she’s actually Loki’s daughter, but the new team is trying really hard to bring Loki around to the good side.
The movie is light, fun, full of comedy and colour. Chris Hemsworth is finally the movie star we all knew he could be, Cate Blanchett is having a lot of fun, and even Idris Elba plays along and shows some muscle.
We also see the other two internet boyfriends, Tom Hiddleston recuperating from the disaster move he made in dating Taylor Swift, and, surprise surprise, Benedict Cumberbatch. I don’t think Dr Strange has met any of the Avengers before, has he?
There are a lot of shirtless scenes for the ladies and one that I’m sure is going to make you swoon: Thor tells Loki he would hug him if he were actually there, and Loki replies that he is while proving it at the same time. For the first time ever (SPOILER ahead), the movie ends with the brothers on the same side. Enjoy!
De cand nu ati mai vazut un film despre care sa spuneti ca v-a placut cu adevarat? O comedie frumoasa la care sa-ti faca literalmente placere sa te uiti? Si care sa te si lase bine-dispus la final. In ultimul timp m-am uitat numai la drame de Oscar, si multe m-au enervat. Asa ca…
Filmul e cu adevarat extraordinar. Povestea e frumoasa, evolueaza interesant si te tine prins pana la final. Iar personajele sunt delicioase: o fetita iepuras (Ginnifer Goodwin) vrea sa devina politist si se duce la Academie, desi toata lumea ii spune ca nu e potrivita pentru asta. Iar cand noii ei colegi o ignora si ii dau lucruri plictisitoare de facut, munceste mult si pune mana pe un caz dificil.
Unii sunt pradatori din fire, insa vor sa vanda prajituri. Altii sunt animale pasnice care vor sa fie politisti. Si, desi aparent totul e frumos, adevarul e ca majoritatea sunt plini de prejudecati. Acesta e detaliul care face filmul grozav: are elemente de drama sociala, povestea maturizarii personajului principal, politicieni corupti, insa subiectul central e o comedie. E vorba de alaturarea unui politist cinsitit cu un artist in ale inselatoriilor, cu personaje extrem de frumos realizate.
E si genul de film la care te uiti de mai multe ori, ca sa prinzi toate detaliile. Denumiri ca Urban Snout-fitters si Snort’s Illustrated si un morcov muscat de pe spatele unui smartphone. Si pentru ca nu l-am vazut dublat, a fost amuzant sa ghicim vocile din spatele personajelor: Idris Elba (seful Bogo), J.K. Simmons (primarul Lionheart), Tommy Chong (Yax iac-ul – in caz ca va intrebati, iac-ul e un bizon mai mic), Alan Tudyk (nevastuica Duke Weaselton) si Shakira (vedeta pop Gazelle).
In State, titlul filmului este Zootopia, dar pentru Europa l-au schimbat in Zootropolis, posibil pentru ca o gradina zoologica moderna numita Zootopia urmeaza sa se deschida in Danemarca. Oricum ar fi, filmul e de vazut, de mai multe ori. Enjoy!
